Ivan Aivazovsky brought the world fame to Crimea and Theodosia. The building, which is the venue of the famous Theodosia Art Gallery today, was originally a house that Ivan Aivazovsky built for himself and his family in the style of Italian Renaissance villas. On Cape Tarkhankut there is a sculpture "The Thinker". It symbolizes the unity of nature and man and has become a recognizable symbol of the Cape. The pink lake Sasyk-Sivash is located in the Saki district of Crimea. This is one of the largest salt lakes on the peninsula (the length 14 km, maximum width 9 km).
