Another decoration of the water front is a sundial. The dial is granite, and the hand, which is responsible for the accuracy of time, is copper.

The Matrossky (sailors’) Boulevard, which was opened after reconstruction last year, is also interesting for walking. One of its main attractions is the monument to captain Kazarsky and his Mercury brig team. In 1829, the small brig withstood an unequal battle with two big Turkish battleships.
