Crimea has long been a multi-ethnic territory, at all times its population has been very diverse. Today, representatives of 175 peoples live in the region. Some peoples are numerous, others count only a few of them, but, as it became a tradition in Crimea, Crimeans celebrate all their main ethnic holidays together.
