The most reliable, detailed and up to date information on Crimea is available at tourist information centres. The centres provide information about tourist resources and promote tourist products in the domestic and global markets.

All services offered by tourist information centres are free. At the same time, the centres are allowed to sell a number of services if a tourist wants to buy them.

Services provided by tourist information centres:

— background information on the tourism sector

— information on the tourist sites of Crimea

— information on accommodation and restaurants

— information on transport and guided tours

— distribution of promotional materials

— sale of souvenirs

— sale of last-minute tours and trips

— sale of discount cards, guest cards, etc.

All employees follow standards and guidelines for tourist information centres, developed by the Russian Ministry of Culture.

Currently, the Republic of Crimea has seven tourist information centres. They are located in Yevpatoria, Simferopol, Kerch, Feodosia, Yalta and Stary Krym. In addition, there are 29 tourist information desks, which distribute printed materials about Crimea. They are located at petrol stations and travel agencies.
