The application was designed as part of the Hospitable Crimea project, which also includes the Hotline 8 800 511 80 18, the Travel Crimea Tourism Portal and the Tourist Information Center of the Republic of Crimea.

The Hospitable Crimea project is implemented by the Crimean Tourist Center, which is under the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Resorts and Tourism of the Republic of Crimea.

The application currently contains 110 tourist attractions, museums and natural landmarks of Crimea in all resort regions of the Republic: South Coast, Western, Central and Eastern Crimea. Most of the sights that are included in the Tavrida.Guide have a QR code that links to the application. If the application is not yet on your smartphone, then the QR code will open a link to download it. It is also possible to connect an additional service − to hear a self-presentation of a palace or a monument in the audio performance format, voiced by professional actors. It is recommended to enable geolocation for the application to work correctly.

As Anastasia Medýntseva, Head of the tourism department of the Ministry of Resorts and Tourism of the Republic of Crimea, noted, digital products today are important for the representation and promotion of the region.

"The Hospitable Crimea project is a comprehensive program for guests of the peninsula, which includes maximum guiding for tourist, starting from making a decision about a trip to Crimea, learning the region and choosing a vacation spot using the travelcrimea.com Travel Portal to welcoming the guest at the railway station and round-the-clock support on the Hotline. The Tavrida.Guide application will allow both a guest and a resident of Crimea not only to learn basic information about our sights, but also to "hear" their voices, pronounced both automatically and by professional actors," she said.

According to Elena Yurchenko, director of the Crimean Tourist Center, the main criteria for selecting materials for the application were a creative approach and non-standard presentation of information about the sights, which, unequivocally, arouses not only interest in the historical, cultural and natural potential of the region, but also in those republican, municipal cultural heritage landmarks, which need additional promotion today.

The application is also useful for the professional community. Tour guides have already tested the Tavrida.Guide and noted it as an excellent modern tool for their daily work, interesting for the today's audience.

Thus, a guide with 13 years of experience, Lyudmila Aizenshtein, drew attention to the fact that the app tells about the most interesting Crimean sights. She is confident that the new resource will help tourists discover the peninsula as well as possible.

"The app will help people get to know our Crimea − great, unique, many-faceted. When thinking about Crimea, I always appeal to the words of the Chilean poet Pablo Neruda, who, having visited our peninsula, wrote:  Crimea is an order on the chest of the planet Earth. Come! Crimea is interesting. We'll tell and show you everything," she said.

Svetlána Kolesnichénko, the tour organizer, agrees with her and believes that the new application contains a lot of useful information for tourists. And the uniqueness of the Tavrida.Guide lies in the fact that it tells about such places that few people know about, even living in Crimea.

"The application gives new contacts and new places. This information is useful for arriving tourists, for vacationers. This application is needed, it will be a great help for work. Moreover, it was designed very creatively, up-to-date, accessible and at the same time − interesting. It can and even must be advised as useful to tourists," said Svetlana Kolesnichenko.

The next part of the application will be filled with objects that are presented in the Museums of Crimea guidebook.
