"Sapun Mountain is an outstanding place in the city and its history. After all, it was here on May 7, 1944 that the heroic liberation of Sevastopol from the Nazi invaders began. After 78 years, members of the military and historical clubs will re-enact a vivid picture of the battle for this strategically important height, which the Nazis at that time turned into an impregnable fortress," the press service noted.

Interactive platforms, exhibitions, a concert, a field kitchen and much more await guests of the festival.

So, here is the program of the festival:

  • 11:00 a.m. —06:00 p.m. − work of interactive platforms;
  • 02:00-02:40 p.m. – rally-requiem, solemn ceremony of carrying-out combat banners and naval flags to the Eternal Flame and the obelisk of Glory;
  • 04:30-05:30 p.m. − concert program.

The program is subject to change. It is recommended to follow the updates on the website of the Sevastopol Defense Museum and on its page in the VKontakte social network.
