As tour guide Dina Mulyanova told the Crimean Travel Portal, residents and guests of the city will learn about how the Simferopol promenade, which in the 19th century was called Zaréchyeh, was created, who contributed to its set up and what had been happening on the slopes of the Salgír River.

"The tour will begin near the monument to Catherine II, on the former city boulevard. Here, by the way, the governor's house still stands. Let's go down to the river and find out what its banks looked like at the beginning of the 19th century and who the first inhabitants of the Zarechyeh were. Near the monument to Suvorov we’ll hear about the events of the distant 1777. After that we’ll go to the first square of the city, where everything first has been preserved:  the first monument in terms of time, the building of the first city museum, the first hospital. And the first monuments of the 21st century were also installed here, on the first city square,” Dina Mulyanova tells.
