The train was scheduled from February 24 so that passengers can easily get to Crimea while the work of Simferopol airport is temporary suspended. It was previously planned that it would go to Crimea until March 10.

The train leaves Simferopol at 08:00 p.m. and arrives in Moscow every other day at 04:00 a.m. The train leaves the capital of Russia at 02:50 p.m. and arrives in Simferopol the next day at 08:10 p.m. The Tavria stops in Ryazan, Voronezh, Rostov-on-Don, Taman. And in Crimea it goes with stops in Kerch, Bagerovo, Seven Kolodezey, Vladislavovka and Dzhankoy. Travel time is 32 hours. It consists mainly of second-class carriages. 

"In total, from February 24 to March 15, the carrier company has already added 19,800 seats in 385 carriages of the Tavria trains from Crimea, which is 56% of the originally planned capacity of all trains. In the additional train No. 196 there will be 10,376 seats, 212 carriages," the press service said. 

In regular No. 28 trains to Moscow from Simferopol, No. 92 from Sevastopol and No. 174 from Eupatoria there will be 4,554 additional seats in 76 carriages, and in a train No. 8 from Sevastopol to St. Petersburg − 4,870 seats in 97 carriages. 

The total number of seats in all Crimean trains from February 24 to March 15 is 55,322 from Crimea and, correspondingly, the same number of seats in the return trains. 

"The Grand Service Express continues to work on increasing the number of regular trains and, in case of an increase in demand, we will strive to increase the number of carriages," the press service stated. 

Tickets for all trains can be purchased on the official website of the carrier (grandtrain.ru) without extra fees, at long-distance ticket offices of railway stations, at ticket offices and on the websites of sales agents.
