The probe of the minimum and average prices was made on the evening of February 7 for package tours with departures from February 19 to 24 for 10 nights. The cost includes airfare from Moscow for two, accommodation and meals (depending on the tour program).
So, according to analysts, in the rating of minimum prices, Crimea took 2nd place: the cheapest tour here on these dates can be bought for 27,916 rubles (about $ 373) with breakfast (we are talking about a 3* health resort on the South Coast). The peninsula was second only to Sochi.
"Buying a ten-day tour to celebrate February 23 in Sochi or Crimea can be cheaper than at the end of February: for only 26-28 thousand rubles (about $ 346-373) for two with air travel," analysts noted.
In addition, experts have compiled a rating of average prices for holidays in popular hotels (dates, conditions and terms are the same), and there Crimea took first place: in a large Yalta 4* hotel you can relax for 74,700 rubles (about $ 996), bed & breakfast.
"Average prices for tour packages already sold before February 7 with a departure on February 19-24 to popular hotels of mass destinations show the same distribution of destinations as those at minimum prices: the leaders are Crimea, Turkey (Antalya) and Sochi," summed up the ATOR and added that tours with February 23 within are even more popular with a family travelers than on New Year's Eve.
Thus, according to the 1001 Tour network of travel agencies, the share of inquiries from tourists with children for flights on February 19-24 is 65% − these dates for many Russian families are school holidays.
Analysts also noted that all prices quoted are as of the late evening of February 7 and may change due to dynamic pricing, changes in exchange rates and other factors.
