The book tells about the wineries of the South of Russia, which are included in the Golden Ring of the Bosporus Kingdom interregional tourist route.
"We are opening Russia to the whole world as one of the centers of ancient culture and civilization. I would like to say words of gratitude to those who are involved in the implementation of the project − the four regions of the South of Russia," TASS quotes project manager Christopher Konstantinidi.
The publication is unique in its significance, the Minister of Resorts and Tourism of the Republic of Crimea Vadim Volchenko is convinced. It contains information about more than 40 wineries in four regions of the South of the country. From the guide you can learn about the origins of the culture of winemaking in Russia in ancient times, as well as about modern Russian winemaking, about wineries open to tourists.
"There were no similar projects that united so many regions of the Russian Federation. Today about 1 million tourists have passed and about 500 thousand tourists tasted the wines in Crimea − only in Crimea − along this route," said Vadim Volchenko.
The guide was created as part of the development of the Golden Ring of the Bosporus Kingdom project with the information support of the Federal Tourism Agency.
Wine Roads is part of the Golden Ring of the Bosporus Kingdom project, which united the Republic of Crimea, Sevastopol, Krasnodar Territory and Rostov Region, and is part of the global tourism, cultural, educational and educational project. On the route, in the excavations of the ancient Greek policies of Chersonesos, Phanagoria, Hermonassa and Tanais, amphorae, pithoi and other artifacts of ancient winemaking are still found, which testify to the high level of local culture of wine making and consumption at that time.
The Wine Roads of the Bosporan Kingdom project was presented in 2019. Tour operators actively include this route in their programs for private and corporate clients, including those from foreign countries.
