According to Aksyonov, the dynamic development of tourism contributes to the modernization of a number of related sectors of the economy, the inflow of investments, the creation of new jobs, and promotion of the international image of Crimea.

And he stressed that in 2014-2020, 44 new accommodation facilities with almost 3 thousand guest rooms were opened, and since the beginning of this year 6 new hotels with 240 guest rooms, and 86 health resorts and resort hotel complexes have been renovated and rebuilt.

"We have tremendous opportunities for the development of the region as a year-round world-class tourist and resort center, this is our strategic goal. The interest of investors in the region is evidenced by the fact that in 2015-2021, 37 investment agreements were signed and are being implemented in the resorts and tourism sector for a total amount of more than 50 billion rubles, which accounts for more than 25% of the total volume of investments in  economy of the republic," the Head of Crimea noted.

He thanked everyone who works in the tourism industry, as well as the staff and managers of the Ministry of Resorts and Tourism of the Republic of Crimea for their high professionalism and dedication, which made it possible to keep the holiday season at a decent level.

We remind you that by the end of the summer, tourist flow to Crimea for the first time reached 7 million tourists.
