As the organizers told the Crimean Travel Portal, the Fig Festival is an annual gastronomic project that has been held in the resort capital of Crimea for 7 years. It aims at promotion of local seasonal products and at boosting the region’s attractiveness in terms of gastronomy. 

Eggplant and figs

The special menu of the festival includes seven dishes from brand chef Mikhail Goncharov to choose from: 

• Farmer’s burrata with fig carpaccio 

• Charcoal-grilled eggplant with figs and gorgonzola 

• Pasta with farmer’s stracciatella, spinach, pumpkin cream and figs

• Lamb tongues with figs stewed in wine

• Duck fillet with pumpkin-orange purée

• Duck fillet with figs on pumpkin-orange purée with dogwood sauce 

• 4-cheese pizza with figs and pistachios 

• Anna Pavlova dessert with figs and passionfruit 

• Fig liqueur 

Everyone will be able to enjoy delicious dishes until mid-October.
