Entry to Crimea: are tests for COVID-19 needed, what is open and what are the restrictions >>

"The requirements of Rospotrebnadzor, including mask wearing and social distancing are the most elementary precautions that are effective if they are followed. If violations are identified, administrative sanctions, fines, even up to the suspension of business activities will be imposed. But the most grave consequences are restrictions on the reception of tourists and illness of Crimeans and guests of Crimea," the Minister of Resorts and Tourism of the Republic of Crimea Vadim Volchenko said.

In her turn, Ekaterina Ivanichenko, the chief specialist-expert of the department of sanitary supervision of the Interregional Directorate of Rospotrebnadzor in the Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol noted that this year the morbidity indicators are worse than last year and there is no tendency to stabilization of the situation, and it may lead to restrictions in terms of arrival and accommodation of tourists.

As previously reported, the Ministry of Healthcare is conducting an organized vaccination of workers in the health resort industry of the Republic. As of June 29, more than 10 thousand employees of hotels and health resorts throughout Crimea have already been vaccinated orderly. Employees of the health resort sector are also vaccinated at their domicile hospitals.

In 2020, the health resort sector of Crimea was able not only to launch work in a very short time after lockdown, but also to prevent outbreaks of morbidity in accommodation facilities either in high season or on the New Year's holidays.

At the moment, all preventive measures are still in force in the industry, logs are kept for monitoring the thermometry of employees, the mask wearing and disinfection measures are observed. And since June 1, the ministry has increased the number of inspection visits to monitor compliance of accommodation facilities with the requirements of Rospotrebnadzor.
