According to the study, Moscow took the first place in the rating: the largest number of air tickets for January was bought to the Russian capital. St. Petersburg took the second place.

Also, the top ten popular air routes include Sochi, Krasnodar, Simferopol, Mineralnyeh Vody, Ufa, Rostov-on-Don, Makhachkala and Kaliningrad.

As reported, Crimea was also in the TOP 10 destinations where Russians flew most often in 2020. And it is not the first year when the peninsula is one of the subsidized air destinations. In 2021 it will be possible to fly to Crimea and back at discounted rates from 12 Russian cities.
