Thus, a new waiting room has been opened on the third floor of the clean zone of the terminal near gates 1 and 2, the press service of the airport reported. It is equipped with an audio and visual flight information system. The arrangement scheme of the seat rows provides easy movement in wheelchairs. Each row of seats is equipped with a socket. To make the premises look cozy on the walls there are reproductions of paintings by Ivan Aivazovsky, after whom the air harbor of Crimea was named. 

At the same time, in a special section of the airport's official website for passengers with limited mobility, online booking of personal assistance on arrival or departure is available. To do this, it is now enough to simply fill out an online application, in which to indicate the type of assistance needed, flight details and the use of a wheelchair. The exclusive service was developed by the experts of the Travelmart business travel agency.  

"Services for organized groups of people with limited mobility at the Simferopol airport is organized separately from the main stream of passengers. For them, additional checkpoints are deployed at the entrance to the terminal, as well as separate check-in counters. All this provides them with greater comfort and efficiency of service," the press service noted.
