More than 5 million tourists have recreated in Crimea since the beginning of the year

"For 9 months of 2020, more than 5 million tourists recreated in Crimea, the exact number of tourist traffic was 5,073 million, — said the Head of the region. − According to the Ministry of Resorts and Tourism of the Republic of Crimea, in September 2020 alone, 1,11 million tourists recreated here. The average occupancy of the operating accommodation facilities ranged from 70% to 90%. Last year, during the same period they had 44-50% occupancy rate".

As Sergei Aksyonov emphasized, the peninsula is very popular among motor tourists. In September, 1.6 times more guests arrived in Crimea by their own transport than in the previous year. The total number of motor tourists was over 670 thousand people.

In October the level of occupancy of hotels and health resorts also remains high − up to 80%. Hotels and health resorts are actively booked for November and New Year's holidays.
