Expectations of tour operators

General Director of the Alean national tour operator, Vice President of the Association of Tour Operators of Russia Ilya Umansky points out a significant increase in demand for autumn holidays in Crimea. And he connects this with the domestic tourism stimulation program, as well as the prolongation of the successful season to the autumn.

"In September, compared to the last year, we are recording an increase in demand for Crimea by 50%, in October − twice as much. Such indicators were preconditioned, first of all, by the cashback program developed by Rosturizm. Thanks to it we see a good booking of the hotels in October. The shift in the beginning of the season to July has also played a role − it stimulated increased demand for September. Finally, good weather also makes it possible to extend vacations. As of today, the occupancy of accommodation facilities in September is up to 80%, in October − about 50%. The most popular hotels are fully booked until the end of October", — Ilya Umansky said in his comment to the Crimea Travel Portal.

"Crimea, we may say, has been lucky. Due to the fact that other directions are closed, we have a demand that prolongs the season, and we record a good tourist flow in the autumn. Some hotels are in a very high demand in the second half of September. In October, demand is also higher than last year, but insignificantly, — said Pylov in his comment to the correspondent of the Travel Portal. — The South Coast is occupied well, including October. The season there, I think, will continue until the end of October, and all this time they will have a completely normal and steady occupancy".
