Guests of the Koktebel Jazz Party will be able to enjoy high-quality music and freedom of summer Koktebel from August 21 to 23. The organizers have named the first participants of the 18th season.

"Among the Russian participants of the Koktebel Jazz Party-2020 there will be the Big Jazz Orchestra conducted by the Russian trumpeter Pyotr Vostokov, the Brazilian Esh jazz band, the star ensemble of Yakov Okun, the People’s Artist of Russia Daniil Kramer trio, the vocalists Larisa Dolina and Mariam Merabova. The program also includes Bril Family performances − the patriarch of Russian jazz Igor Bril and his sons, saxophonists Alexander and Dmitry, the big band of Sergey Golovnya, People’s Artist of Russia Igor Sklyar, together with the Jazz Classic Community group, Anastasia Lyutova and her Lyutiy Band, and many others", — the organizing committee informed.

Foreign performers will also face the audience − their names will be presented on the opening day, August 21. In addition, world jazz stars will take part in the "Jazz at the Speed of Light" program, which will be held in a teleconference format.

The organizing committee added that to ensure the safety of the festival participants and the audience all the necessary Rospotrebnadzor (the Russian Authority for Consumer Protection) sanitary requirements for coronavirus will be observed.

Koktebel Jazz Party emerged as a private initiative of the founder of Koktebel jazz − journalist Dmitry Kiselyov − in 2003. Every year novice jazzmen and leading jazz groups of Russia and the world jam three days in August with their performances.
