"As of today, July 24, Crimea received its first million of tourists. The tourist flow is unprecedented, − said Aksyonov. — About one third of the holidaymakers (32.1%) arrived on the peninsula by air, 4.8% − by rail, 63.1% − by automobile transport over the Crimean Bridge".

The occupancy rate of the accommodation facilities in the most popular destination − the South Coast of Crimea − reaches 95%.

"Many 4-5-star hotels have sold 100% of rooms for July-August. On average in Crimea, the accommodation facilities are 70% full", — said Aksyonov.

The level and time span of booking of hotels and health resorts for September-October continues to grow. The number of accommodation facilities ready to receive tourists is also increasing, the head of the region added. To date, 727 health resorts and hotels have committed themselves to work during the holiday season.
