"Paragraph 2 of the decree is declared invalid", — reads the document, dated July 14.

This paragraph implied that all people arriving on the peninsula from abroad should be placed in observatories for 14 days. This decision was previously made in connection with the prevention of the spread of coronavirus infection. On Tuesday, July 14, Federal Service for Surveillance on Consumer Rights Protection and Human Wellbeing canceled the obligatory 14-day medical observation for people, arriving from foreign countries to the Russian Federation.

The strict quarantine regime and self-isolation for Crimeans were already canceled in the region since June 15. Also, from this date, compulsory medical observation for visitors to the peninsula from other regions of the Russian Federation has been canceled. And from July 1, hotels, mini-hotels, campsites and health resorts began to accommodate the Russian vacationers. Only in the first 10 days from the start of the active season over 400 thousand tourists arrived on the peninsula. It is expected that in July about 1.5 million guests will come on vacations to Crimea.
