The Golden Ring of the Bosporus Kingdom project, developed by specialists of the Russian Geographical Society, the National Hospitality Industry Union (OCIG) and the Riviera Tour operator, invites guests to visit Crimea and other regions, participating in the project, to try the Ancient Bosporus Nature new ecological route, starting July 1.

These 3-5-6-day tours include visits to museums and archaeological sites with the study of ancient winemaking and excursions to natural landmarks. The Travel Portal received this information from Christophor Konstantinidi, the project coordinator and OCIG (National Union of Hospitality Industry) ambassador.

"Together with the Ministry of Natural Resources and Ecology of the Russian Federation, in line with the ecological tourism development, we have combined the cultural and historical potential of the South of Russia with the natural potential, and we are now launching comprehensive programs that include visits to national parks, reserves, etc. So, the Sochi National Park, the Utrish State Nature Reserve in the Krasnodar Territory, and three Crimean reserves − Yalta Mountain Forestland, Kazantip and Opuk − are included in the Golden Ring of the Bosporus Kingdom. In particular, guests will be able to see the Ai-Petri merlons and the Opuk Nature Reserve. But, I think, all the protected territories of Crimea will be actively included in our new ecological route, there are many landmarks. We have a large number of tour operators involved in organization of the Golden Ring tours, but at the same time, we are always glad to new participants. The project is open to all", — said Christophor Konstantinidi.

At the same time, according to him, in the summer season 2020, guests will also be offered, as before, the "Wine Roads of the Bosporus Kingdom": today 27 wineries in four regions are ready to receive tourists.

The Golden Ring of the Bosporus Kingdom is an inter-regional tourist route jointly developed by the relevant departments of the Krasnodar Territory, the Republic of Crimea, Sevastopol and the Rostov Region. The project provides for the organization of expeditions and tours, conferences, photo exhibitions and festivals. The overall coordination of the project is carried out by the Russian Geographical Society with the support of the Federal Agency for Tourism. The route positions Russia in the world of tourism as one of the unique centers of ancient culture and civilization. In April 2019 President Vladimir Putin referred to the route as an example of demonstrating diversity of the Russian history.

In November the Golden Ring of the Bosporus Kingdom received the prestigious Traveler`s Award 2019, which is traditionally held by National Geographic.
