A small but stunningly picturesque lake is near Alupka right at the foot of the Shaan Kaya rock. You can get there by car or take a walk through the forest along the fantastical heaps of fallen rocks. The road takes no more than one and a half kilometres (less than 5000 ft.). The lake has long been favoured by locals, who are proud to guide there tourists and guests of Crimea from different parts of Russia and the world.
