Nikitsky Botanical Gardens

Established in 1812, the botanical garden has an immense collection of trees and shrubs: over 2,000 species. Guided tours are available in the Upper and Lower Parks, the Cape Martyan eco trail and Primorsky Park. A cactus hothouse, the Green Labyrinth and the Paradise Garden are also open to the public. Exhibitions of different flowers are held in the garden: tulips and lilac in April, irises in May, roses in June, when they start blooming, and chrysanthemums in November.
