The Vorontsov Park

Created in the first half of the 19^th century under the guidance of German botanist and gardener Carolus Keebach, the park is an extraordinary piece of landscape architecture. The park and the Vorontsov Palace form an architectural ensemble. The park covers an area of about 40 ha where up to 200 species of exotic trees and shrubs can be found. The park was laid out in a landscape style as an amphitheatre that descends towards the Teahouse on the sea coast below. Pribrezhnoye Motorway, which connects Yalta and Simeiz, runs through the park, dividing it into the Upper Park and Lower Park.
