The memorial is dedicated to the victims of Nazism from among civilian residents of Yevpatoria who were executed by the Germans during the Great Patriotic War. It is designed as a wreath around a giant mass grave. The memorial includes the Mourning Mother Monument, the Eternal Flame, a monument to marines-paratroopers and a city park.
