Built in 1808-1811 by Governor General of Novorossiya and Bessarabia, Duke Armand du Plessis de Richelieu, this is the oldest European building on the southern coast of Crimea. In the summer of 1820, young Alexander Pushkin stayed at this house. In 2001, the poet's museum was opened here as a branch of the Yalta Historical and Literary Museum.
