Alimova Balka is a creek on the southern slope of the Kachi valley, opposite the Kachi-Kalyon Monastery. It bears the name of a legendary Tatar robber of the 19th century, Alim, described as the local Robin Hood. In the upper reaches of the gully, an ancient Mesolithic site was discovered, and the rock of Burun-Kaya holds the ruins of a medieval fortress and an ancient burial ground. The heaps of mossy uncressed stones above are ruins of ancient buildings.
