The museum collection includes over 100,000 items, including archaeological artefacts, coins, 18th-19th century drawings, photographs and documents. At present the following sections are open to visitors: Nature of Crimea: Palaeontology, Geology, Landscape; The Past of Taurida: Crimea's History and Archaeology from Antiquity to the 15th Century; Taurida Governorate; and Crimea During the Great Patriotic War.
