So, the exhibition will present original and unique documents, letters from soldiers and commanders of the Red Army in 1941. You can also see the personal belongings of the commander of the 50th Army of the Bryansk Front, Hero of the Soviet Union, Major General Mikhail Petrov, found in 2019-2021 in the Tula region during the search work of the 'Slavniy (Glorious)' military historical Club. And three battle banners are exposed there:  of the 278th rifle division, the 407th evacuation hospital and the Baltic party organization.

In addition, the exhibition will expose the previously unknown feat of political instructor Ivan Astákhov, who rescued a convoy with the Bryansk Front 50th Army headquarters secret documents from the Nazis encirclement.

The exhibition is organized by the Yasnaya Polyana Estate and Museum of Leo Tolstoy, the Livadia Palace, the Slavniy (Glorious) Club, the Tula Regional Branch of the Russian Military Historical Society and the Central Archive of the RF Ministry of Defense.

This South Coast Museum will host the exhibition as part of an all-Russian tour. In the summer, it will be presented at the Army-2022 military-patriotic forum.
